The Sierra de San Francisco contain some of the oldest cave paintings in the world and can be accessed on foot, with burro support if you wish,
or by mule and burro. It's a steep trail, similar to that of the Grand Canyon, but can be accomplished by anyone of good physical
condition. Don't want to carry a full backpack, just a daypack instead? Let a burro carry some or all, it's your choice. And you can ride a mule if
you'd rather not hike. We'll be escorted by a friendly local guide and will be camping on the valley floor. Contact us to arrange this trip.

San Ignacio Lagoon is where the friendliest gray whales can be found. Every year they travel from the arctic seas south to the warm sheltered bays
of Baja California's Pacific coast to mate and give birth to baby gray whales. They are watched over here, the local guides caring for their well-being
and protection, making sure not to disturb them. Every year, the whales return, and a mother whale, knowing she has nothing to fear because
she has met humans and their boats in the lagoon before, encourages her baby to experience human touch. Perhaps she'll
roll over onto her back and support her baby from below so it doesn't have to swim and can enjoy the feeling of being stroked and kissed. It truly is
an unforgettable experience, for you certainly and hopefully for the whales also. Click here for more information.
